my stay was enjoyable with a clean room and friendly staff. The hotel's proximity to Fairlawn Park, just a short drive away, and the abundance of restaurants like Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse within a 10-minute walk made exploring the area effortless and fun.

the staff were friendly and the room was clean with working amenities. the elevator inspection was expired, and we had to take the stairs.

I enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn in Montrose. The room felt comfortable, with clean bedding and adequate heat control. The breakfast, however, was inconsistent. The scrambled eggs didn’t taste fresh, and the yogurt and oatmeal were at room temperature instead of being chilled or warm. I appreciated that the staff attempted to keep the area tidy, but they could have been more attentive to replenishing items. The bathroom needed some attention. The tub showed signs of age and discoloration, making me hesitate to use it. There were also issues with the water temperature—at times, it took a while to adjust, and the drainage in the tub was slow. I did have a pleasant interaction with the front desk. they were accommodating when we needed directions and offered recommendations for dining. All in all, a comfortable place, but not without its hiccups.
